[SPEED]Boss Hunting Competition


Event Period : 2016/10/17 ~ 2016/10/24 (UTC)

Boss monsters in the Speed Event Server are spawning faster than players can kill them! Prove your mightiness by forming a party and killing each boss monster to earn free rewards! Record your team of players killing each unique boss monster, and your video will earn your team Event Points. The prize that is received will be based on how many Event Points the video earns.

*This event only applies to characters in the Speed Event Sever.

How To Participate

1. Log into the Speed Event Server.
2. Form a party with all team members for the competition.
3. Record a video* of your team killing a boss monster. (see the rules for specifics)
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 for each unique boss monster you kill, with the same team members.
5. Compile all of the videos into one large video, with each boss kill in the single video.
6. Upload the single, final video to YouTube. (see the rules for specifics)
7. Post the video within this forum topic using the following format:
                  "Team Leader: [in-game name]
                  Team Member: [in-game name]
                  [Additional Team Members]
                  [embed** video / link here]"

Rules

1. This is an official MU Online 3rd-party event, hosted by MU Online Fanz.
2. Team members are not required; anyone can play solo if desired.
3. Only one team member needs to post the video for all the team members.
4. The same boss monster cannot be counted multiple times.
5. A total of 730 Event Points can be earned.
6. Reviewed submissions will be edited and stamped on the top of the post with either [APPROVED] or [NOT QUALIFIED].
7. If a submission receives a [NOT QUALIFIED] stamp, please re-submit the submission with a new post (don’t re-edit your submission).
8. Submissions edited after the initial review, will be disqualified; do not re-edit a submission after it has been edited by the Host.
9. Submissions posted outside of this forum topic will not be considered.

10. All submissions must be made during the event period (between 10/17 ~ 10/24 @23:59 (UTC)).
11. All rewards will be distributed (by WEBZEN staff) after the event period on 10/25/2016 (UTC).
12. Winners are ultimately determined at the Host’s discretion, during the event period.
13. Only one reward package (the greater of any single, claimable reward) will be gifted per person, at the Host’s discretion.
14. A list of winners will be posted to this topic after the event has concluded.

In-game Settings:
1. The video must show all in-game character names. (Toggled via Settings menu)
2. The video must show all monster’s HP. (Toggled via Settings menu)

 

Video Recording:
1. Each boss kill needs to show at least 10 seconds of non-stop video (unless the monster is killed within less than 10 seconds).
2. Each boss kill must show the boss actually dying.
3. It is suggested to allow a monster’s death animation to complete.

 

YouTube Rules:
1. Uploaded content must be uploaded to YouTube during the event period (between 10/17 ~ 10/24 (UTC)).
2. Use the following text for the title of the uploaded video:
                  “[Event]Boss Hunting Competition(MU Online)”
3. Only one team member needs to upload the video to YouTube.

(*Note: you can only earn points once, for each unique boss monster. Killing all types of bosses will earn the max amount of event points, which is 730 event points.)

Speed Event Server Reward

The following rewards can be earned, based on the amount of event points the submission receives.

*These rewards can only be used in the Speed Event Sever realm.

 

1 - 50 Event Points:

  • Gold Channel Ticket (1 day)

51 - 140 Event Points:
