Email Verification Required for New Users
Greetings,
We wish to inform all of our users of a new initiative we will be implementing in the near future to enhance and further secure your gaming experience.
Starting from February 5th, 2014, GST (Global Server Time), every user that creates an account at http://www.webzen.com will have to verify their email address to be able to use any of the services offered at webzen.com, including games, forums, etc. This change in the registration process for our users will allow us to provide better security from now and onwards for our players. The main reasoning behind this change is to enhance security and provide accurate information about the services available at webzen.com. This change will not affect players who already have accounts at webzen.com, but we highly encourage every player to verify their email address as soon as possible in order to fully experience the enhanced security.
For existing users to verify their email address:
- Go to webzen.com
- Log in on the top right
- Click “My Account” on the top right
- Select “My Profile”
- On the “Account Information” section, check if there is red text saying “Email Not Verified” next to your email address.
ü If the email is not verified and the correct email address is displayed, click “Resend
ü If the email is not verified but it is incorrect, click “Change”
- Check your email inbox for an email from WEBZEN regarding your email verification and follow the instructions to complete the process.
