Season 21-1 Part 2 New Hunting Ground: "Sanctuary of Aquilas"
1) Background Story
As the name suggests, the Sanctuary of Aquilas is a temple built by the Kanturu people to worship the 'Eagle God'.
With technology more advanced than other civilizations, they constructed a grand temple boasting splendor, where worship and sacrifices were actively performed.
Initially, pure faith was maintained, and ordinary sacrifices such as sheep and cattle were offered.
However, when the world became unstable due to the infiltration of Kundun, the faith became corrupted, and as experimental subjects with impure souls created by the Kanturians were offered as sacrifices, unknown energies began to accumulate in the temple.
Upon discovering that there was usable energy, Kundun's subordinate infiltrated the temple and opened a dimensional gate.
Through the opened gate, he summoned a legion of the Eagle Phantom Tribe from another dimension, who killed all the Kanturians in the temple, and completely took over the temple.
The Kanturians regarded the Eagle Legion as gods and were unable to fight back, only suffering defeat.
When the place became inaccessible to humans, they sealed the entrance using sealing magic, and after a long time, the seal weakened and the sanctuary was revealed to the world.
Mastery equipment crafter Priest James now sends the heroes of the continent to the Sanctuary of Aquilas to further enhance the abilities of the heroes who will stand against Kundun.
