Season 20 Part 2-2 New Hunting Ground: Swamp of Destruction
1) Background Story
Explorers, following the command of the MU Empire, began investigating the Swamp of Peace that Mallone had discovered. Assisted by the heroes of the MU Continent, the explorers investigated the four islands within the Swamp of Peace and confirmed the presence of Medusa and new life forms. They also found traces of a civilization across the four islands, discovering statues, the square and altar on the western island, and a cemetery on the southern island. Yet, surprisingly, no people were found.
Uncertain whether the civilization had been destroyed by the suddenly appearing Medusa and monsters, or had vanished for some other reason, the explorers decided to activate a non-functioning magic circle. The explorers gathered the scattered fragments of the destroyed magic circle, rebuilt them into a statue, and, with the help of wizards, activated the circle.
However, unlike the Swamp of Peace's magic circle, this one generated a purple column of ominous light, sparks began to fly, and light streamed from the eyes of the statue. The heroes and wizards were hesitant to use the magic circle due to the ominous energy. But upon the explorers' request, the heroes eventually proceeded first, with the explorers and wizards following shortly after. They realized they had been transported to the middle of a vast, desolate, dark island. As the explorers' eyes adjusted to the gloom, they saw, far in the distance, the monsters they had observed in the Swamp of Peace.
The difference this time was that strong sparks were now emanating from around the monsters' bodies. The explorers realized that long ago, when the magic circle was active, the monsters had been transferred from this gigantic island to the Swamp of Peace, and those who were attacked by the monsters had destroyed the magic circle.
While the monsters that moved to the Swamp of Peace via the magic circle weakened the farther, they got from this island, this place is still filled with creatures capable of bringing ruin to all.
This is the Swamp of DESTRUCTION.
